Welcome to our new website

19th June 2019

It's been three years since we last gave our website an overhaul, since then we've seen the business undergo significant changes, new team members arrive, and our branding continue to evolve. It's high time then that we brought the website up to date, to properly reflect Impelling as a business in 2019.

Probably the most immediate change on the site is the new branding. The first thing you'll see is the pattern in place on the homepage, we've made this interactive, so if you're on a desktop and you've not had a go already try dragging over the shapes to colour them in. We love a good Easter egg at Impelling, so we've programmed a few into the pattern, see if you can find any (hint: try colouring them all in!). To go with the new pattern, we've got a new colour scheme and typography set that's being rolled out across all of our other online and printed media. Last but not least, we've got a wonderful set of very trendy, very in vogue isometric illustrations, lovingly crafted by our in-house design expert Neil.

Just as important as the way everything looks, is the message the site conveys, and the way the information within it is organised. As such, we've spent time thinking about our brand messaging, and rewritten most of the content on the site to properly reflect our services and business goals.

Add all of this together, and the result is a website that we're mightily proud of - functional, helpful and nice to look at, a bit like our team of staff (just kidding). We've been in the website game for long enough though to know that a website is never truly finished, so we'll be continuing to tweak, refine and add new content as required. If there's anything you think we've missed, or could have done better we'd love to hear, so please drop us a message if there's something you've spotted.

Last but not least, I'd like to say a big thank you to all the people involved in building, writing, proofing, designing, illustrating and making this website a reality. There's been a bunch of work put into this thing over the past year or so, and we're all delighted with the results.
